Reiki for Healing

Published by marycaelsto at 3:56 pm under reiki Edit This

One of the main uses of reiki is for healing, and I think, like most people, that the nation needs healing. Last night’s historical events bode well for the country, and I would hope that everyone would do what he, or she could, in order to make this a more perfect union, a better nation. And yet, there are still deep divisions within this country. Personally, I discovered wounds that had never healed, suppressed anger over the way my uninsured parents’ health has been managed and the sharp divide between the have-nots and the haves. To that end, I’ll be offering reiki to not only heal my own wounds, but also those of our country.

Like I talked yesterday, it’s very easy to just say hey, we’re sending reiki to the “greater good” without thinking about the impacts personally or globally that this may have. I have no doubt the choices made yesterday in our presidential race (we won’t talk about some ballot initiatives, but there’s an opportunity for more healing) are the best ones for our country and our future. So yes, in my eyes the greater good did happen. But I’m a realist, and I also believe that we have a lot of healing in our future - starting with ourselves.

And this is the perfect opportunity for reiki.

    Hi,
I agree with you. I also believe the great good was done. We need to continue to send positive energy, but be mindful of our intentions.
